This project is a newly-built ultra-supercritical coal-fired power generation project, with The Lucky Electric Power Company Limited of Pakistan as the owner. It features a unit capacity of 1×660MW and adopts a configuration of tower-type boiler + once-reheat coal-fired generator set. The plant is located near Karachi, about 10 kilometers west of Port Qasim, adjacent to Pakistan International Bulk Terminal (specializing in coal, cement and clinker handling), enjoying convenient geographical transportation. The southern side of the plant is adjacent to the Kadiro River (which finally flows into the Arabian Sea), and the northern side is connected to Port Qasim Road, with superior location conditions. In terms of core equipment, the three main units (boiler, steam turbine and generator) all adopt GE (ALSTOM) brand products. The supervision work is fully undertaken by FICHTNER Company of Germany to ensure the professional standards of project construction and technical implementation. The project has achieved complete success!
